Password Tab

The Password tab is where you set up the Password specifications. The Employee Password must meet the configuration requirements to Create a Password for the first time; or to Reset a Password.
Note: The specifications defined here do not apply when manually adding a Password through the User Maintenance.

Password Tab

  1. Minimum Length
    The value entered here determines the minimum amount of Characters a Password can contain.
    Note: Please be advised that a value of one or greater is required here, values of zero and negative integers are not accepted.

  2. Maximum Length
    The value entered here determines the maximum amount of Characters a Password can contain.
    Note: Please be advised that a value of one or greater is required here, values of zero and negative integers are not accepted, and the value entered must be greater than or equal to the value entered in the Minimum Length field.

  3. Minimum Numeric
    The value entered here determines the minimum amount of Numeric Characters a Password can contain.
    Note: If no value is entered this field will default to zero when Save is selected.

  4. Minimum Special Characters
    The value entered here determines the minimum amount of Special Characters a Password can contain. (I.e. ! $ / \ % etc.)
    Note: If no value is entered this field will default to zero when Save is selected.

  5. Minimum Uppercase
    The value entered here determines the minimum amount of Uppercase Characters a Password can contain.
    Note: If no value is entered this field will default to zero when Save is selected.

  6. Minimum Lowercase
    The value entered here determines the minimum amount of Lowercase Characters a Password can contain.
    Note: If no value is entered this field will default to zero when Save is selected.

  7. Save
    Once you are satisfied with your selections, click on 'Save'.
